Stepping down DACSI Chair

Henk Brink;

“Over the last 11 years, I have had the privilege of chairing DACSI. However, time waits for no one; it is now an appropriate moment to pass the torch to a new chairperson. Elly van Gils, whom many of you know as the chair of the ESES user committee, will be taking over and will undoubtedly further develop our trade association. At the same time, the current Vice Chairman, Jan Lemeire, will step down and be replaced by Erik Veerman. This transition will take effect on 1 September 2024.”

“I thank Jan for his 6 years of service as Vice Chairman. I also thank all DACSI members for their fruitful cooperation in their respective roles. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all of you. Our industry is complex and demanding, and collaboration between users of the post-trade infrastructure, regulators, and other industry bodies is crucial. I have full confidence that DACSI will thrive under the new leadership.

I will continue as a member of the Core Committee and the DACSI Board until summer 2025, ensuring a smooth transition of my duties to Elly and others.
