DACSI T+1 Market Readiness Event Brings Together Dutch and European Market Experts

On 4 November, DACSI hosted its T+1 Market Readiness Event at Euronext Amsterdam, bringing together a broad range of stakeholders from across the Dutch and European securities industry.

The event provided a platform for market participants, financial market infrastructures, custodians, issuers, regulators, and industry experts to discuss the upcoming transition to T+1 settlement in Europe and the preparations required to ensure successful implementation.

The programme featured keynote presentations from regulatory and market experts, a fireside conversation on international experiences and lessons learned, and two panel discussions focusing on the impact of T+1 across the securities value chain and practical implementation considerations.

Participants benefited from valuable insights shared by representatives from AFM, ESMA, CSSF, Citi, Euroclear, Deutsche Bank, Cboe Clear Europe, ABN AMRO, BUX, Euronext Securities, and other key market stakeholders. Discussions highlighted both the opportunities and operational challenges associated with the move to T+1 and reinforced the importance of continued collaboration across the industry.

DACSI would like to thank all speakers, panelists, moderators, participants, and Euronext Amsterdam for their contribution to the success of the event. The lively discussions, exchange of expertise, and networking opportunities throughout the afternoon demonstrated the strong commitment of the Dutch market to ensure readiness for T+1 settlement.

To support market participants in their preparations, DACSI recently published the Dutch T+1 NL Handbook, which is available for download via the link below:
